Many things had to come together to make this work:
*Warm, sunny weather (dried the yard out after last week’s rain)
*An abundance of seldom used supplies (like the lights)
*Some engineering bravery (to get the table out of the house)
*Lack of concern about getting dirt on our chairs
*Our lovely book club, who we both knew would totally dig this whole al fresco dining business
*St Patrick’s Day, because who doesn’t get a little crazy then?
