I made 25 of these in 2003 for my best friend Hester’s wedding shower. She was to be married on the Outer Banks of NC, and my friend Peaches and I were hosting her bridal shower. Hurricane somebody, I don’t remember which, intervened, and the wedding was moved to Alexandria, VA, where the couple lived. The cups became rehearsal dinner favors instead. They are tiny- the one I kept holds bobby pins. I made the shell molds by pressing tiny seashells into plaster of paris. Works well with figs, twigs, acorns, and other natural objects.
