Sculpey Disaster

All my Sculpey, including the brand new stuff I bought 3 days ago was dry as a bone and crumbly.
I read online somewhere that you can possibly massage vegetable oil into this kind of clay to get it back to normal. Needless to say, I kneaded veggie oil into lumpy Sculpey for about 2 hours and revivied it!
