"U429/97. This man helped put Drouin on the map. He is William J.Young, 79 year old secretary of the water trust, which controls the town’s water supply. He was formerly Shire Secretary for 48 years; came to Australia from Belfast at the age of 25 for his health! His son is Commissioner of Main Roads in Western Australia; his daughter is a clerk in the Country Roads Board, Melbourne.
