Groom in Jeans and a Baseball Cap

How laid back do you have to be to get married in jeans and a baseball cap? I love it!
When I first met Khokan (on the left), I had no idea it was his wedding. He was so at ease, easy going, and relaxed. Between that and the jeans and baseball cap I just thought he was showing up for someone else’s wedding.
It was only later that I was told that this is in fact his wedding. I wonder if all Buddhist weddings are this laid back and easy going.
Also in this photo is Rick Davis – a teacher at the American International School in Dhaka who was my travel buddy for this journey.
