CHITRAL: A farewell party was held in honor of Dr. Sher Qayum Executive District Officer Health Chitral on his retirement from government service. District Coordination Officer Chitral Rahmatullah Wazir was chief guest on the occasion. Addressing to the farewell party the speakers paid rich tribute to retired EDO Health and appreciated his endeavors and meritorious services for improvement of health department in Chitral. They said that he was a honest officer and that is why he has no sophisticated house and car after his retirement. Traditional gifts of Chitarl cloak was presented to him by staff which was wear to him by DCO Chitral. Addressing in his farewell speech EDO health thanked to all of his staff for their support and cooperation. He stressed upon on his colleague that honesty is the best policy and never involve in any type of dis-honesty. He said that service and relief to depressed and oppressed people is really worship and we should to
perform our duty not for getting salary but to consider it as worship and we will fell great satisfaction in our heart. those who spoke on the occasion were Khurshid Ahmad president Paramedics association, Dr. Yaqub vice principal District Health Development Center Danin, Dr. Saad Maluk Deputy DHO, Dr. Noorul Islam medical Superintendent of District Headquarters hospital Chitral, Rahmatullah Wazir DCO Chitral and other. A large number of health staff and line department attended his farewell party and hailed his services. District Officer Revenue and Estate was also present on the occasion.
