State Senator Dante Bartolomeo and Representatives Hilda Santiago, Cathy Abercrombie and Buddy Altobello were invited to join Interim Superintendent, Dr. Nivea L. Torres and incoming principal Ms. Lisa Hylwa at Wilcox Technical School’s Silver City Bistro in Meriden for an amazing lunch prepared by students in the Culinary Arts Program. Wilcox is currently undergoing a renovation project that includes 3,000 sq. ft. of additions, 14,500 sq. ft. of renovations, improvements to athletic fields and new equipment for students to learn the latest in their trades.
