Usabilty of reception sandwiches == poor

So, there was a reception in the exhibit hall. We had ham & turkey carving stations, rolls, crudite, and cheese bits. Now, the meat was sliced kinda chunky (this piece is a kinda bad example), the cheese was in blocks, and the bread and crackers were very thin. While all ingredients pointed towards sandwich makings, or at least open-faced sandwichettes, the consensus was that the UI (user interface) of the food was poor.
