Ken graciously offered me some darkroom supplies. When we visited Abe and Callie this past weekend to see their new house and go to Shannon’s brother’s wedding, I got to sort through and pick things up.
I would have grabbed two more boxes worth, but this was about how much i actually had room for in the car. I had a lovely dinner, and a lovely time sorting through boxes with Abe and Ken. I am excited for the gear, but it was like being teenagers again. Awesome night.
There are about a dozen cameras here, darkroom supplies of all sorts, papers, films, accessories, tons of stuff. Amazing gift, and I could not be more pleased to have received it from my best friend’s family.
I’m sorting through things, cleaning up some cameras and film developing equipment to put to use, and then need to get a darkroom built. I know I’m probably going to hit the wall on that if I don’t move soon. Plus, Abe said he’s excited to come visit to use it, so I’ve really got to get it set up to dangle that carrot.
So thrilled. So, so grateful.
