This is the welcome board I made for display at the reception hall at Mikie’s wedding next month. There were quite nice ones in a catalogue, but Mikie said that it’s more meaningful if a friend makes it (also about 0 cheaper, lol), so this is what I came up with. I wish the text looked better, but I had to hand letter it with no pencil markings because of the washi paper in the background, so this was the best I could do. Bleh. Consider the wobbliness to be its handmade charm. XD The paper roses were ordered from a shop in England – Japan doesn’t have much in the way of arts and crafts supply stores.
